Lance Brown (b. 2003, Oregon) is a Washington D.C. based composer and performer. His music often explores the role religion, nostalgia, and escapism play in the modern world.

Brown's music has been performed by many ensembles, including Fear No Music, Delgani String Quartet, Esteli Gomez (of Roomfull of Teeth), and the Post-Haste Reed Duo. He has also collaborated on scoring live and electronic music for short film. 

Brown is currently a Master’s Candidate at George Mason University and holds a B.M. in Music Composition from the University of Oregon, where he studied with Robert Kyr & David Crumb.

As a trombonist, Brown has studied with Henry Henniger & Casey Jones.
